Focuses on statistical techniques for the analysis of categorical data, with specific
applications to epidemiologic and clinical studies. Methods for the analysis of contingency
tables; risk assessment in retrospective and prospective studies; and adjustment for
confounding, matching, and effect modification are discussed. Analytic techniques include
Mantel-Haenszel summary chi-square procedures, logistic regression, and log-linear models.
