NYU Medical Center Hosts Free Baby Fair on October 14th
On Saturday October 14, 2006, NYU Medical Center will be hosting a free baby fair. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at 550 First Avenue between 30th and 33rd streets.
Expecting parents will enjoy a fun morning of raffles and prizes, vendors, advice from NYU Medical Center doctors, and tours of the birthing facilities. Refreshments will be served.
The schedule of expert information sessions is:
- 9:30 a.m. – Getting off to a Good Start by Richard Gallagher Ph.D.
- 10:00 a.m. – How to Pick A Pediatrician by Danielle Curitore M.D.
- 10:30 a.m. – Benefits to Breastfeeding by Anastasia Stekas RN, IBCLC
- 11:00 a.m. – Baby Care Safety by Michelle Solomita RN, M.A.
