NYU MEDICAL CENTER PHYSICIAN INDUCTED AS A FELLOW IN THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF RADIOLOGY

NEW YORK, NY – July 18, 2007 – Georgeann McGuinness, M.D., FACR, has been inducted as a Fellow in the American College of Radiology (ACR). The induction took place at a formal convocation ceremony during the recent 84th Annual Meeting and Chapter Leadership conference in Washington, D.C.

Dr. McGuinness is a diagnostic radiologist at NYU Medical Center and NYU School of Medicine. She is a member of the New York State Radiological Society and received her medical degree from New York Medical College.

The ACR is a national nonprofit association serving more than 32,000 radiologists, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and medical physicists with programs focusing on the practice of radiology and the delivery of comprehensive health care services.
