NYU MEDICAL CENTER TO HOST “CHRISTMAS IN JULY” HOLIDAY PARTY ON JULY 25 FOR PHYSICALLY-CHALLENGED CHILD PATIENTS OF THE PEDIATRIC REHABILITATION
WING AT THE RUSK INSTITUTE
Party presented by nonprofit volunteer group The Intimate Apparel Square Club

WHO:                  

The Intimate Apparel Square Club, a 52-year-old
non-profit organization of volunteer professionals who raise funds for the pediatric wing of The Rusk Institute. To date, the Square Club has raised nearly $3 million for Rusk Institute.

WHAT:                

An annual Square Club tradition, which makes for a great “feel good” TV segment or photo op. This is a cheerful holiday party, complete with a Club member dressed as Santa Claus, games, music, food and holiday gifts, to brighten the lives of the child patients of Rusk Institute who are diagnosed with neurological, orthopedic or developmental conditions.

WHEN:                

Wednesday, July 25, 4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
4 p.m. : members visit bedridden patients on upper floor
5 p.m. : main party in the Horizon House room
