Therefore, the Department of Environmental Medicine at the New York University School of Medicine would like to share its resources with your company through our new Industrial Associates Program. The Department of Environmental Medicine is one of the oldest and most prestigious research institutions of its kind. Since 1947, our scientists have identified and studied environmental pollutants and their potential impacts on human health. Our expertise includes Pollution Exposure, Chemical Carcinogenesis, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Inhalation, and Molecular Toxicology, as well as Ecology and Engineering. Our unbiased research provides objective information your company will find essential regarding the actual risks posed by pollutants, and has guided government, industry, and individuals in taking the most appropriate actions for protecting human health.

While we continue to compete successfully for federal research funds, such as from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), we also realize a need to encourage private industry sources to join us by supporting and learning from our work. Not only do we benefit, but your company gains from unique interactions with our Institute’s faculty and staff, which includes some of the world’s most eminent and respected scientists working in environmental health science. Our distinguished faculty has published in a wide variety of prestigious journals, including Science, Nature, Lancet, and the Journal of the American Medical Association, to name but a few.
