Research

There is a dedicated musculoskeletal imaging research program with a Ph.D. and post-doctoral fellow. Our current focus is on cartilage and intervertebral disc.

In addition, a molecular imaging program has been started. Studies are done at HJD and at our Biomedical Imaging Center at 650-660 First Ave. with two 3T and one 7T whole body scanners, a 64 slice research CT, and an animal lab.
