Funding for the Bellevue Literary Review
A grant from the New York Council for the Humanities funded a February 2004 Humanities panel discussion on the role of literature in medicine. In addition, the BLR has received a Technical Assistance Grant from the Council of Literary Magazines and Presses to begin an upgrade of its online submission database. Foundation support has been provided by The Lucius N. Littauer Foundation, the Vilcek Foundation, and the Rita J. and Stanley H. Kaplan Family Foundation. The BLR is also honored to have an active core of 40 to 50 donors who continually demonstrate their support for the BLR's activities.
