Administrative Assistant Position
High School graduate with a minimum of four years of experience or a college degree with two years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus typing and computer proficiency (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required.
Candidate will be responsible for handling and typing grants and manuscripts, documents and correspondence, creating PowerPoint presentations, conducting library and web research, screening and distributing mail, answering phones, scheduling meetings, serving as a contact for students, collecting student grades, data entry, posting educational materials on the department website, maintaining inventory of supplies and materials, initiating check requests, and all related functions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.
