Dr. Rosenzweig's research interests center upon the clinical applications of echocardiography. He has contributed many original observations concerning the diagnostic capabilities of all forms of cardiac ultrasound imaging. He has been an active principle investigator and contributing author to clinical studies of aortic atherosclerosis, aneurysm and dissection, of the value of echocardiography in the evaluation and treatment of valvular heart disease, and endocarditis and its complications. He is the founder and Director of the Echocardiography Laboratory of the Bellevue Hospital Center, a major educational site for the training programs of the New York University School of Medicine, and attends in the Non-Invasive Laboratory of Tisch Hospital. He is the Director of the Training Program in Cardiovascular Disease and is integrally involved in medical education at all levels.
