We are probably the best combined Hematology/Oncology service in New York City for the study of hematology and the combination of hematology and oncology, for a variety of reasons.

We are strongly research oriented, we have an NIH-sponsored hematology training grant, and we expose our fellows to a year of hematology, rather than six months. We have a very strong academic mission to develop physician-scientists who will be the researchers, teachers, and clinicians of the next generation.
