The Division of Hematology at NYU School of Medicine conducts internationally renowned research programs in such fields as molecular hematology, autoimmunity, blood coagulation, and AIDS-related malignancies.

The division numbers among its faculty and staff many physicians acknowledged on "best doctors" lists as well as a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences.
