On the undergraduate level, the division's full-time faculty participates in the Pathophysiologic Basis of Medicine course, Hematology Section, for second-year medical students, organized by Dr. Bruce Raphael.

A series of lectures, seminars, and hands-on laboratory sessions are presented over a two-to three-week period, during which students receive an in-depth exposure to a wide variety of hematological malignancies and nonmalignant disorders.
