Demetre Daskalakis , M.D.

Dr. Demetre Daskalakis, an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases and Attending Physician at the Bellevue Hospital Center, was one of four distinguished honorees recognized by Mayor Michael Bloomberg at a reception at Gracie Mansion on World AIDS. 

Dr. Daskalakis was recognized for his pioneering HIV prevention work in New York City.
