Laura Evans, MD has recently joined the Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and the Director of the Bellevue Medical Intensive Care Unit. 

Dr. Evans came from Columbia University where she was an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine working in the MICU.  She completed her fellowship at the University of Washington and residency training at New York Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center.  She also has an MS in epidemiology from the University of Washington School of Public Health and Community Health. 

Dr. Evans has recently been named as the Associate Program Director for the Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at NYU.   She is an outstanding clinician and educator, and we are happy to welcome her to the division.
