Adult Neurology

Introduction

The NYU Neurology Residency Training Program is an ACGME-accredited three-year training program. NYU accepts five to seven residents each year in the adult program. Graduates are eligible to take the certifying examinations offered by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Completion of one year of preliminary medicine training at an ACGME-accredited program is required to begin neurology training at NYU. Internships may be performed at NYU if desired.

The program strives to constantly improve itself to enhance residents’ learning experiences, to monitor and achieve goals and objectives for the program and individual rotations and to stay up-to-date with ACGME requirements.
