Epilepsy is a neurological condition, originating in the brain, in which a person experiences sudden and unexpected abnormal behavior. Anyone's brain can exhibit this abnormal behavior given the right circumstances. Some people have recurrent seizures because their brain can manifest the seizure process more readily and under circumstances that most other brains would not. A seizure essentially is just another brain process that any brain is capable of manifesting.
