You do not have to see Eileen DiFrisco walk into the Mother-Baby Unit on 13 West to know that she is there; you just have to feel her positive presence and boundless energy. Ms. DiFrisco is a dynamo worker who accomplishes as much or more on her part-time schedule than many full-time workers do in a week. The program she runs offers classess on breastfeeding, infant CPR, and childbirth preparation, and Eileen also teaches inpatient and outpatient classes, functions as a Lactation Consultant, and is a resource and role model for staff.
