Goals
The goal of the NYU Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship Training Program at New York University Medical Center is to provide the subspecialty resident with the opportunity for the following:
- developing the clinical and laboratory skills needed for the diagnosis and management of a wide spectrum of endocrine disorders including Diabetes, in children and adolescents
- learning the fundamentals of clinical and laboratory investigation necessary for certification by the Pediatric Endocrine Subspecialty Board
- participation in productive clinical and laboratory research projects
Upon completion of the program the trainee should become proficient and qualified to provide expert consultative services, to teach in the clinical arena, and to participate in clinical and laboratory investigation in this subspecialty.
