At the beginning of the rotation the residents and medical students are given a folder containing general articles on hematology/ oncology topics. It is recommended that the student/resident read all of these articles as well as both the Hematology and Oncology sections in one of the two major textbooks in pediatrics (Rudolph or Nelson).
