Dr. Fang's research work is in aerosol health effects, aerosol generation and instrumentation. Current projects focus on gas and particle transport in lung airways; development of thoracic inlets for asbestos samplers; generation of fibrous aerosols in narrow size ranges; and development of a system for the in vitro exposure of pulmonary cells to aerosols.
