Making a Gift
Gifts can be made for unrestricted use or designated or a specific medical service or program within the Rusk Institute. Unrestricted gifts enable the institution to direct funds to where they can make the greatest impact.
Outright gifts
Outright gifts at any level provide essential support for patient care
programs. Annual donors who give $1,000 or more to any program or campaign
are recognized through The 1841 Society.
Make a gift to the Rusk Institute
by going to the Office
of Development web site.
Planned Gifts
Planned gifts are generally made through your will or estate plan. Planned
gifts include: Bequests, Charitable Remainder Trusts, Charitable Gift
Annuities, and Charitable Lead Trusts. Your planned gift may be made
with cash, securities, real property, personal property, life insurance
or retirement assets. By naming the NYU Hospitals Center as the ultimate
beneficiary of your planned gift, you will be helping to ensure that
Tisch Hospital and Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine will continue
to provide the finest in healthcare services. To learn more about the
Planned Giving Program at NYU Hospitals Center and how you may become
a member of the John Revere Society, please
go directly to Planned Gifts.
Matching Gifts
Many employers will match the contributions their employees make, enabling
your contribution to Rusk to be doubled or even tripled. Please check
with your personnel department to learn about about your company’s
matching gift policy and to obtain the correct form to submit with your
contribution.
