The Integrative Health Programs through the Department of Social Work offer a variety of services for those interested in using complementary and integrative approaches to support conventional medical care and enhance their general well-being.

Programs include community education workshops for the general public; bedside mind/body interventions for hospitalized patients; stress management training for patients (and for their family members) who are preparing for surgery, chemotherapy, or other medical procedures; and information and referrals to providers on staff at NYU Medical Center who are trained in integrative health care techniques.
