Each child is evaluated for the need of any adaptive equipment that will allow for better functioning in his or her environment. The program also evaluates the need for any equipment that will help family caregivers. Adaptive equipment may include: bath/toilet seats, adaptive chairs and strollers, adaptive standers and other positioning aides, adaptive bicycles, and assisted walking devices.
