Pediatric Psychology Service
Given the psychological and neuropsychological issues associated
with acute rehabilitation admission, all pediatric inpatients
are seen by the Psychology Department.
The patient's family is made a part of any evaluation to
the greatest extent possible. The psychological goals and
plans for treatment are developed and discussed with the
patient and family, as well as with the attending physiatrist,
resident, and interdisciplinary team.
