The Division of Endocrine Surgery in the Department of Surgery at NYU was established in 2007 to provide comprehensive care to patients requiring surgery for thyroid cancer, other thyroid conditions, hyperparathyroidism, and other endocrine tumors in cooperation with colleagues in Endocrinology, Pathology, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiology. This team approach will assure that all patients will have available to them the most modern treatments for their disease.
The Division of Endocrine Surgery is also committed to the development of new clinical programs, clinical and translational research, and the education of residents and fellows in this rapidly growing subspecialty of surgery.
